Pin Oak trees will keep this house cool in the summer. The yard reflects a plant lover’s paradise. Here are the problems with the home: The kitchen has never been updated. There is mold in the basement as a result of not winterizing the house. Mold mitigation is needed, electrical replaced in the basement and plumbing pipes replaced. Double sliding doors in the basement are now covered with plywood. The only basement window is also covered with plywood. The major problem is the mold. Electricity needs to be turned on to deal with this. A plumber will need to fix the broken pipes and replace the toilets to prevent any new water problems once the water is turned back on. I have had a mold remediation company come out with a plumber and electrical bid included. That bid was $30K to remove all surfaces with mold, replace plumbing that is broken, and fix the electrical.
